Gauge

  • Rnd 1: sc in 4th ch from hook (counts as sh), sk 2 ch, sh in next ch, *sk 2 ch, sh in next ch. Rep from * across, turn. || 10 sh ||
  • Rnd 2-10: Ch 1, sh in first ch-2 sp and in each ch-2 sp across, turn. || 10 sh ||
  • Stitch Gauge: 10 sh and 20 rows = 4 inches
    Note: It is better to obtain stitch gauge than row gauge since lengths are achieved with tape measure.

With MC, ch 3, sl st in 3rd ch from hook to form ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, 10 sc in ring; join with sl st to first sc. Mark this as RIGHT side. || 10 sc ||

Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in same sc and in each sc around; join with sl st to first sc. || 20 sc ||

Rnd 3: Ch 1, sh (see Stitches) in same sc, sk next sc, *sh in next sc, sk next sc, rep from * around; join with sl st to first sc. || 10 sh ||

Rnd 4: Ch 1, dbl-sh (see Stitches) in first ch-2 sp and in each ch-2 sp around; join with sl st to first sc.
