Beach Babe - Shorts & Tie Top

Really I would give this a 4.5 if I could, as I love this pattern - I just finished the top and it is absolutely adorable on my daughter. The only draw back was that I needed more yarn than called for - 3T top should have used 6.25 oz and I needed about 8.5 oz. I did use a different brand yarn - but it was also a ww/size 4 cotton (Red Heart Creme de la Creme) and I did check my gage so it shouldn't have been that off. This was really only an issue as I had to order the yarn online (and I had made an allowance the first time I ordered) and could not just run down to the store to get more. But I do love these patterns and will definately buy more of them!
