Serenity Gown

I have made several other Crocheted Christening dresses, which were beautiful,, but when I came across this pattern, I had to have it! This dress is simply beautiful, but very tetious to make, but well worth it! Yes, I have made many different christening dresses & won first place in the Crochet section , and- Best In SHow, in out county fairs with them , but this one is a absolutely the best I ever made! I feel it was a challenge to make,, and I think of myself as an experienced crocheter,, but, with this one-- it did give me a challenge! But, I gotten through it,,and I would say this is my most magnicifent piece I have ever made! I love the length of it,, and the beautiful edging , scallopped ? -edging at the bottom.. I did not use the "Cross" aplique,, on the front of the dress, for I felt it took away the beauty of it all,, but the small pearls,, just set it off so beautifully,, - even though I had a hard time finding those pearls!, -but this dress is a treasue,, I made several others, before this, that were pretty , but whoever presents me with the next great granddaughter, will surely get this treasured dress... and they say, no matter what,, if they have a boy,, that he will also wear this baptism dress,☺️.. so,, I am beginning another one with this pattern, but ,, will have to go slowly, for it is a complicated, but worth it,,It is for the more experienced crocheter,- but thank you,, Crochet Garden, and whoever created this pattern, my hat is off to you,, this a magnicent baptism dress that any mother would love to save it from generation to generation,, 👍
