Stone Mason Hat and Scarf Set

I've become addicted to this pattern. The scarf, which looks so complex when it's finished is just a simple repetition of a couple of rows that you can easily do in front of the TV. The hat is a tiny bit more complicated because of the increases, but it's not at all difficult. I've done the scarf in WW as well, and made a short section of the scarf into a snug neckwarmer with sc ribbing. The scarf would be a great first cable project for a beginner because Lisa's unique background stitch eliminates the one thing that confuses beginners -- which stitch to skip behind the cable. How does it do this? Nope. Not telling. Buy the pattern and find out! You'll be glad you did.
